1.What do I need to use SecureOffice?
You need a computer, Internet connection and e-mail address. Any modern web browser is suitable, including Internet Explorer 7 or 8, Mozilla Firefox or Apple Safari. Older browsers, such as Internet Explorer 6 and Netscape 4, might work as well, but are not tested.
2.How do I know how many credits I have left?
At the bottom of the file list, you see how many credits are left. The Control Panel screen also displays how many credits were used, as well as when we expect you to run out of credits.
3.What happens when I've used my credits?
The site will be accessible, e.g. to make folders and move files, but you will not be able to upload or download any more documents until you buy more credits.
4.How much storage space do I get?
Every workspace comes with an unlimited storage space. You just pay for what you use.
5.Is there a limit to the size of a file I can upload?

9.My file transfers are slow. What's wrong?
The upload speed is dependent upon the bandwidth you have available. If you have a dial-up account or are using a broadband connection for other uses such as VOIP or audio/video streaming, this will result in slower file transfers.
10.Does workspace support file transfers via FTP or WebDav?
No, FTP and WebDav transfers into the workspace are not supported for security reasons. But we do have an FTP Upload option for special purposes, e.g. for automatically generated files as backups or CCTV images.

As many as you like.
12.I want someone else in my organization to manage my SecureOffice.workspace site. How do I do this?
Add them as a user and tick the box in the Add User screen to 'This user is an administrator'. If the user already has a SecureOffice.workspace account, edit their account to make them an administrator. There is no extra charge for additional administrators.
13.I want a few people to temporarily have access to just one folder. Do I have to make a user account for each one of them?
No, in such case you should make the folder "public" with the Public Folder option. You need only the email addresses of the users. Each user will by default be able to download from the folder, unless you specifically add uploading rights. You can even add existing Public Folder users.
14.How many users can be administrators?
There is no limit on the number of users who can also be administrators. You need to be aware that an administrator has complete control over the site and may delete your user account!

You can personalize your SecureOffice.workspace site by adding your own logo in place of the default. This updates all screens, welcome e-mail messages and e-mail alerts. Also, you can choose another skin in "My Profile".
16.Why do some file icons on SecureOffice.workspace look different from the ones on my computer?
SecureOffice.workspace displays file icons based on their detected file mime type or suffix. SecureOffice.workspace currently recognizes over 100 of the most popular file formats, including PDF, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
17.I want to share some photos, movies and music with friends. Can I use workspace?
You are prohibited from using workspace to publish content of an illegal or obscene nature or any material which you do not have the legal owner's permission to use. So, if they are photos, movies and music you created and you are the legal copyright owner, then yes. Otherwise, no. For more information read the User Terms and Conditions of Use.
18.Does workspace support Macintosh file resource forks?
No. To retain resource forks in your Mac files, create a zip or Stuffit archive for the file(s). More recent Macintosh file formats do not rely on the resource forks. For example, adding file suffixes such as .qxd (for Quark docs) and .psd (Photoshop files) to your file names will ensure the files open in the correct programs without creating a zip or Stuffit archive for them. workspace will also display the correct file icons if the file suffixes are added.
